By David Saltonstall After the longest, most expensive, most-watched presidential election, the epic battle between Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain shifts Tuesday to the nation's true deciders - the voters.



Reproduced above is the Google Home page headline that drew my attention. Frankly, I expected the New's webpage to be colored in a crinkled yellow--similar to what I remember of a very old rag. But I was surprised--so here is my left-handed compliment to them. The writing was no worse than the LA Times, and, at least, passable.
